As children, YUVAL FOGELSON and VICTOR JOOSTEN designed maps of imaginary cities together when they lived in Hamburg, Germany (1988-1994). Later on in life (2002), they re-encountered in Delft, the Netherlands, pursuing similar interests and similar career paths. Both ended up designing cities, working as urban designers and most importantly continuing the love for maps and cities.
TWIN CITIES is a collaboration project between the two, which aims to reunite maps which were drawn during their teenage years when the two had not kept in contact. The similarities are striking.
